| Personal History | Mutara had a normal childhood growing up. Having an identical twin made life fun. They'd play practical jokes on family, friends, and school teachers. Her brother were and still are very protective of her and her twin sister. Mutara decided at an early age of 9 that she wanted to serve in Starfleet, choosing Medicine like her brother Bryce. In fact, four of her brothers had already joined and Ian was sill deciding if that is what he wanted. Tameara, her twin, decided that Starfleet wasn't for her so she went to school to be a Biologist. Mutara helped Bryce with his studies which gave her an advantage over other students. While in school, she surpassed all of the other students, finding too that her IQ was higher than first thought. She moved up two grades in her Sophomore year. She enrolled in Martial Arts and self-defense classes while in school. By the time she was 16, she was not only at the top of her graduating class but also in her Martial Arts class, teaching a martial arts class as well. Upon graduating from high school, she attended Starfleet Medical. After graduating Starfleet Medical, she was assigned to the USS George Washington. The ACMO was injured and left Starfleet leaving the ACMO position open. Mutara impressed the CMO so much with her medical knowledge that was she moved up to ACMO in her first year. Bad luck seemed to follow the medical department. The CMO was killed, making her CMO by default. In 2373, she met Paul MacLeod, fell in love and was married. In 2376, they separated. In 2381, Paul and Mutara tried to rekindle their relationship but it didn't work out. Mutara remained on the USS George Washington until 2488. She then transferred to the USS Triton to start anew but she wasn't happy there. In 2390, she got word that there was an opening on the USS New Hampshire so she used her connections to get transferred there. | |
