Personality & Traits

General Overview Generally easy to be around, will infodump on bystanders that show any interest in similar hobbies etc.

Enjoys building miniature starships in his spare time, has a cabinet in his quarters with shelves full of little ships that he's built and painted by hand.

Takes his job seriously - he's seen what happens when the helm isn't taken care of. He doesn't want any navigational incidents under his watch.
Strengths & Weaknesses Excellent listener, always open to information and advice from his team before making command decisions as long as it's not time sensitive. Follows protocol, but recognises that sometimes you have to tiptoe around it to get the job done. Always willing to justify his actions.

In spite of being chief flight control officer, new/updated technology takes him some time to learn, more so than others, much to his frustration. Often leads him to using older technologies for the simpler/less complex things day to day.
Ambitions Would love to command a starship some day and become a beacon of contact and diplomacy for the United Federation of Planets, being able to travel far and wide to places never explored before.
Hobbies & Interests Model making
21st century pop-punk/emo music, particularly from 2000s and 2010s
Enjoys visiting the Fleet Museum at Athan Prime.
Languages English, minimal Kilngon.

Personal History Born on a Starfleet hospital ship, he was destined to be amongst the stars since his first breath. Always had a keen interest in space and how we manage to navigate it since being a boy.
He was reading maps and navigation charts since he was able to understand them. His childhood bedtime book was an old 20th century illustrated science encyclopedia, one of his most prized possessions.

Had many friends growing up and became well known in the community for his willingness to help others.

Also had a tendency to disappear for weeks on end without warning when he discovered new nav charts.
Service Record Graduated from Starfleet Academy aged 22 - cartography, navigation, and the interpretation of star charts - honors

Assigned to USS Uhura astrometrics lab, served on board for 2 years.

Transferred to USS Sutherland for assistant chief of astrometrics position, served for 4 years.

Transferred to USS Okuda for B shift helmsman position, served for 3 years.

Transferred to USS Excelsior for chief flight control officer position. Served for 3 years until ship's destruction at the hands of the temporarily assimilated fleet during the Frontier Day celebration, 1 of only 12 surviving crew members.

1 year extended leave of absence to treat post traumatic stress disorder due to the frontier day Borg incident.

Assigned as chief flight control officer aboard Starbase 400. Being aboard the Starbase allows family to be close by and enables continuity of mental health recovery.
Simming History I've participated in many Airsoft MilSim events where we have had to create characters and their roles within a team, since July 2019.

Tabletop Warhammer 40k games within my family were a regular fixture growing up.
