Recruitment Drive

Starting today, 10/11/12, Starbase 400 is starting a Recruitment Drive!

Why?

Well, yes we do have an active core group of players, but we do have several key positions that I'd like to see filled. Recently, we have had to part ways with a few players because they have chosen not to post. Instead of having inactive players or even NPCs fill these positions, I believe we can find some good writers and players that will contribute to the simm fill these positions and make the simm better!

What am I asking you to do?

Well, we all have friends that like Star Trek. We all have friends that like to write. What I am asking you to do is to ask you friends that you think might have interest in Starbase 400 to check us out and if they like what they see to apply! And if you REALLY want to help, you can even post up ads for Starbase 400 on site like www.pbem2.com. (Just PLEASE, do NOT try to recruit from other simms or groups)

What do you get out of this?

Well, aside from my personal gratitude and more players to interact with, I will also be soon restarting the Hall of Honor. Many of you already know what this is, in-character (and in some cases out-of-character) awards such as 'Original Thinking', 'Medial of Discovery', 'Tactical Award', etc. In this case, if you bring in someone new and they stay with the simm for at least two months and are active you'll receive the 'Starbase 400 Recruitment Award'. It's a little something you can mention on your character bio or just smile about.

So, let's all pitch in, spread the word about Starbase 400, and see if we can bring in more people to enjoy the simm with us!
